Francesco Meloni

A lawyer at the Court of Turin, he deals with corporate criminal law, liability of legal persons under Legislative Decree no. 231/2001 and medical liability.

He has gained significant experience in procedural and extrajudicial assistance in the fields of health and safety at work, environmental criminal law, tax offences, computer crimes, criminal protection of know-how, liability of entities under Legislative Decree no. 231/2001 and medical liability.

In the area of corporate liability, provision of consultancy services in relation to the requirements of Legislative Decree No. 231/2001, drafting and updating Organisation and Management Models and offering support and assistance to Supervisory Bodies are specific areas of expertise.

He has personally supervised the drafting of Organisational Models pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 231/2001 for national and international companies and groups, operating in many production and commercial sectors.

Currently, he holds positions as Chairman and member of Supervisory Bodies established pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 231/2001, within corporate groups of particular importance on the national and international scene.

He provides out-of-court advice and assistance on corporate governance, through the preparation of opinions and delegation of functions in the field of occupational and environmental health and safety.

In the field of medical-healthcare liability, he provides procedural assistance in Italy and San Marino, in civil and criminal matters, exclusively in favour of Italian and foreign insurance companies, public and private healthcare Structures and Professionals practising healthcare professions. He is a member of, and advisor to, Claims Evaluation Committees within major health facilities, where he advises on the management of major damages and particularly complex disputes.

He is a lecturer and scientific coordinator in numerous Master's courses and training courses provided for professional associations, corporate groups and training organisations, in the fields of occupational health and safety, environmental criminal law, cybercrime, medical liability and liability of legal persons.

He is the author and editor of scientific publications on corporate criminal law, cybercrime and corporate liability.
